What decided it
The garden room, despite its modern design, would be of small scale, largely subsumed within the extensive farmstead complex, and would exhibit sufficient visual lightness and respect for rural character through its materials and green roof to avoid appearing unduly out of keeping with the traditional Farmhouse or causing significant harm to the historic farmstead setting.
