Main issues, as the Inspector framed them

  • Whether condition 3 is necessary and reasonable in the interests of the character and appearance of the host building and to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the Moor Park Conservation Area

What decided it

The proposed UPVC windows would closely mimic the original window design, represent an improvement over the existing poor-condition windows, and would not be widely conspicuous due to the property's screening and set-back position, resulting in no harm to the conservation area.
