The proposed development would not create unacceptable traffic conditions because it is directly adjacent to a free public car-park with available spaces, the occupants would have access to 24/7 parking permits, and the location has good access to local services and public transport.

The benefits of providing one new family dwelling and associated social and economic benefits for Mayfield outweighed the Council's concerns about highway safety, which the Inspector found to be unfounded
