The limited but positive contribution the site makes to the landscape qualities of the AONB would be diminished by the domestication of the site through the introduction of holiday pods and associated paraphernalia, resulting in harm to the landscape and scenic beauty of the AONB that outweighs the modest economic and social benefits.
The limited economic and social benefits of farm diversification and visitor spend were outweighed by the conflict with development plan policies and the harm to the landscape and scenic beauty of the AONB, to which great weight was attached in accordance with paragraph 176 of the NPPF.
