What decided it

The resultant harm to living conditions of neighbours in respect of loss of outlook and received light was not significant enough to justify dismissal of the appeal, particularly given the Council's prior approval of similar extensions at the adjacent property.

The limited harm to neighbour amenity was outweighed by the benefits of providing additional family living accommodation and achieving symmetry with the previously approved extensions at No.59, consistent with housing provision policy.
