Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the proposed variation of conditions on highway safety
What decided it
The 2.05 metre width of the revised driveway access, when accounting for refuse bins at the collection point, would replicate the dimensions of the existing access road between Nos. 1 and 2 The Tudors and would not block the access road, combined with contextual factors including the residential nature of the area, speed restrictions, and adequate visibility that would mitigate highway safety risks.
