The footprint of the building is defined by existing walls with some small modifications for construction reasons and will use and re-use materials already on site and from the existing building. The height of the extension has been set to match that of the opposite end of the crescent. Internally, the proposal also includes modifications to the staircase between the ground floor and the first floor to enable the enlargement of the existing bedroom 2 on the first floor
