What decided it

Agreement between the appellant and the Council, reflected in a Statement of Common Ground, that a single condition requiring a scheme of noise mitigation works would safeguard the living conditions of the occupiers of Hales Pasture House and render the development acceptable and policy-compliant.

With the noise mitigation condition in place the extension accorded with the development plan, and the Inspector found no material considerations of sufficient weight to justify a decision otherwise than in accordance with the plan.
