The extended dormers would substantially alter and disrupt the roof shape and unbalance the symmetry of the paired dwellings, creating an unduly dominant and incongruous feature that harms character and appearance contrary to Policy QE7, whereas the rear extension would be acceptable and largely concealed from public view.
