What decided it

The well-designed, low-key bungalow with its lowered floor level and thoughtful layout would not have adverse aesthetic impact and would not disruptively affect the relationship between suburbia and countryside.

The lack of five-year housing land supply and the improved design of this scheme compared to the previous 2018 appeal, combined with the absence of unacceptable adverse effects on character and appearance, outweighed the Council's concerns about visual buffering.
