What decided it
The less than substantial but considerable harm to the setting of the Grade II listed Farmhouse, which the Inspector was required to give special regard to preserving, outweighed the modest public benefits of housing provision and farm business viability.
The modest public benefits of 9 new dwellings and farm business viability did not outweigh the unacceptable harm to the setting of the listed building, notwithstanding the absence of a 5-year housing land supply
