Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the development upon the character and appearance of the streetscene and surrounding area
What decided it
The considerable bulk, massing and visibility of the dormer extension, combined with its hip to gable conversion occupying almost the entirety of the rear roof, makes it a prominent and discordant feature that harms the character and appearance of the streetscene and is contrary to Policy 37.
