What decided it

The landscape and visual harm was found to be minimal and not significant, falling below the policy threshold for conflict with the development plan, so that the benefits of the scheme were not significantly and demonstrably outweighed by any adverse impacts.

The adverse impacts of the development, including loss of Best and Most Versatile agricultural land and some ridge and furrow earthworks, did not significantly and demonstrably outweigh the significant housing, affordable housing, economic and environmental benefits of the scheme.
