The distance between the farmhouse and appeal site is not sufficiently far to make the permanent siting of the log cabin essential for a rural worker, as livestock welfare can be adequately maintained through occasional vehicle journeys of a few minutes, and the cows could be moved to nearer fields when closer monitoring is necessary.
