Main issues, as the Inspector framed them

  • The effect of the development on the landscape character of the area, and whether there is an agricultural need that outweighs any harm

What decided it

The development fails to conserve or enhance the landscape character of the National Park and there is insufficient demonstrated agricultural need for a building of this scale to outweigh the harm caused.
