What decided it

The significant harm to the character and appearance of the Nether Edge Conservation Area caused by the prominent siting of the 20m mast was not outweighed by the public benefits of 5G coverage, particularly as the appellant failed to demonstrate that the sequential approach had been properly followed in exploring less harmful alternatives.
