What decided it

The land on which the proposed outbuilding would be sited, being accessed separately from the dwelling and garden, lying outside the defining stone walls, and not being intimately associated with the dwelling, does not fall within the curtilage of the dwellinghouse and therefore cannot benefit from permitted development rights.
