The proposal's re-use of redundant agricultural buildings with enhancement of the immediate setting through removal of the largest structures and increased landscaping satisfied the Framework paragraph 84c exception for isolated homes in the countryside.

The benefits of re-using redundant buildings, enhancing the landscape through removal of large utilitarian structures and increased planting, and contributing to housing supply outweighed the limited car-reliance and isolated location, resulting in accordance with the development plan as a whole.
