The modest length of the flank wall along the shared boundary and the fact that the difference between a 3-metre and 4-metre extension would not materially increase overbearingness, combined with the neighbouring property owner's own prior approval for a similar extension and lack of objection, meant the development would not cause unacceptable harm to living conditions.
