The character of the rearward setting between Beechcroft and Mandrake Roads is already established by numerous existing roof extensions, making the appeal proposal not perceived as out of keeping, and the absence of objection from the affected neighbour combined with limited potential for adverse light impact justified allowing the appeal despite policy conflict.
