What decided it

The appellant failed to demonstrate the lawfulness of the hip to gable extension works (which had already been carried out) and therefore could not establish the lawfulness of the proposed dormer which would be added to that roof, and the outbuilding lacked evidence that it was reasonably required for a purpose incidental to the dwellinghouse.
