What decided it

The significant redesign of the proposal to retain the existing building form with modest single-storey extensions, combined with the reduced curtilage and high-quality materials, means the development would not result in any harm to the character and appearance of the area or the special landscape qualities of the AGLV when viewed from public vantage points.
