The proposal would introduce a visually prominent, suburban-style solid brick boundary treatment of considerable extent and height that is fundamentally at odds with the rural character of Wyck Lane and the High Weald National Landscape, and this significant harm cannot be outweighed by the moderate benefits of privacy and security.
