Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- Whether Condition 6 restricting the installation of photovoltaic panels on the new garage roof is reasonable and necessary, having regard to the Barn's status as a Grade II listed building
What decided it
The photovoltaic panels are proposed for installation on a new detached garage building that is not part of the listed building and therefore section 17 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 does not permit the imposition of Condition 6 on the grant of listed building consent.
