What decided it

The proposed extension, through its appropriate setback, lower ridge line compared to the previous dismissed scheme, and maintenance of a sufficient visual gap between properties, would preserve the character and appearance of the area and the Kent Downs National Landscape without causing harm to neighbouring amenity.
