What decided it

The unbalancing of the semi-detached pair through the additional height would create an incongruous and visually intrusive development that would harmfully affect the prominent and attractive appearance of the dwellings and cul-de-sac, conflicting with Policies 2 and 12 of the Cornwall Local Plan and Policy 4 of the Portreath Neighbourhood Development Plan.
