Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the loss of part of the boundary wall on the character and appearance of the Tring Conservation Area and the setting of the listed building at 23 High Street
What decided it
The removal of only a small, non-visible section of the southern boundary wall, combined with the reuse of bricks in the new extension and retention of the majority of the wall internally, would preserve the character and appearance of the conservation area and not harm the setting of the listed building, in accordance with development plan policies and the NPPF.
