What decided it

The trailer introduces an isolated commercial feature into a part of the coastline whose openness, naturalness and absence of built form are defining characteristics, causing unacceptable harm to the SDNL and Undeveloped Coast that substantially outweighs the modest economic and tourism benefits.

Applying Policy S5, the modest benefits of supporting a rural business and tourism activity were substantially outweighed by the unacceptable harm to the character and appearance of the area, with particular regard to the SDNL and the Undeveloped Coast.
