The location of the bus shelter on Boroughbridge Road within a particularly complex section of the highway network with multiple competing movements and traffic control measures, combined with the dynamic nature of the digital display changing every 10 seconds, would create an unacceptable distraction to drivers at a location where their focus must remain on negotiating competing highway movements.
