What decided it

The existence of the original 2018 planning permission as a material consideration of great weight, combined with the appellant's commitment to remedy the principal harm (incongruous brickwork) through rendering to match the existing dwelling, outweighed the deviations from the approved scheme.

The material weight of the extant planning permission and the remedial rendering condition outweighed the harm caused by the unauthorised construction and the deviations from the approved design.
