Planning appeal decision
Henfield Tea Gardens , Henfield High Street , Henfield , BN5 9DE
We wish to apply for permissions for two signs to be attached to the fencing at the front of our property and for one sign to erected on our property just by the front gate. Our property is quite a way back from the road, so we were concerned that potential customers may not realise we are there

Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the proposed signs on the amenity of the area
What decided it
The size and position of the proposed signs would make them intrusive and dominant features that detract from the character and appearance of the conservation area and surrounding area.
