What decided it
The potential harm to Green Belt openness from unrestricted permitted development rights for extensions and outbuildings on the large plot, combined with the revised Planning Practice Guidance guidance on such restrictions, justified the imposition of conditions 14 and 15.
The benefits of the approved development in reducing built form and improving openness were balanced against the need to protect openness from future permitted development, with the latter consideration prevailing to justify the conditions.
