What decided it
The condition restricting Mutlow Cottage to holiday use remains necessary and justified because the site's remote location outside any settlement would make an unrestricted dwelling unjustifiably car-dependent, whereas holiday use provides rural economic benefit and complies with sustainable development policy.
The contribution of one additional dwelling to housing land supply would not outweigh the harm of introducing an unrestricted dwelling in an unsustainable countryside location contrary to the broad strategy of preventing permanent residential development outside settlements and accessible locations.
