The reduced width of landscaping now proposed would be insufficient to adequately safeguard the outlook of neighbouring residents and allow those properties to feel separate from the industrial site, particularly during winter months when leaf cover is limited.
The necessity to protect the living conditions and outlook of neighbouring residential properties outweighed the appellant's desire to vary the landscaping condition to a less extensive scheme.
