What decided it
The cumulative harm to neighbouring living conditions through loss of privacy and outlook, combined with the cramped, poorly designed layout with inadequate private amenity space and minimal landscaping, could not be justified and outweighed the acceptable aspects of highway, drainage and materials.
The acceptable aspects of highway matters, drainage and design of the dwellings themselves did not outweigh the identified harm to neighbouring living conditions and the character and appearance of the area.
