Both proposals would construct the additional storey partly over the existing front extension which is of lower height than the original dwellinghouse, and therefore do not meet the eligibility requirement of Paragraph AA.1(i) of the GPDO that any additional storey must be constructed on the principal part of the dwellinghouse.
