What decided it

The lack of specific evidence of local need for a holiday chalet at this particular location, combined with the site's remote and inaccessible location, meant the proposal conflicted with Policies TTV2 and DEV15 and did not represent sustainable development.

The acceptable effect on the AONB landscape did not outweigh the policy conflict in terms of the location of the site and lack of demonstrated local need.
