What decided it

The presence of other substantial rear dormers in the immediate vicinity and the existing significant extensions to the neighbouring semi-detached property meant the development did not appear overly dominant or create an unbalanced appearance, and the angled views from the Juliette balconies prevented direct overlooking of neighbouring gardens.
