What decided it

The proposed extension would cause unacceptable loss of daylight, sunlight and outlook to the adjoining property (No 3) by breaching the 45-degree daylight line and creating an enclosing effect on its rear garden, thereby failing to comply with the conditions applicable to permitted development under the GPDO.
