What decided it

The extension's single storey height, separation distance from the boundary, and the obscured glazing of the nearest window mean the loss of outlook and light to the neighbouring property is negligible and does not materially harm living conditions.

The non-compliance with the 45° code was outweighed by the negligible effect on neighbouring living conditions in terms of outlook and light, permitting the extension to be allowed.
