What decided it

The modest scale, sensitive timber finish, corner position with surrounding hedges and soft landscaping, and conformity with the landscape character type and most of the SPD's equestrian design guidance meant the stables do not harm the character and appearance of the surrounding area or detract from the National Park's special qualities.
