The combination of the proposed house's modest one-and-a-half storey height, appropriate vernacular materials, substantial separation distance of 23m from neighbouring properties, and backland position offset from the High Street archway entrance would ensure it assimilates within the conservation area setting while preserving the significance of the listed buildings and not causing unacceptable harm to neighbouring living conditions.
