The change to the roof profile at No 24 would disrupt the unified architectural harmony at the road junction and detract from the character and appearance of the conservation area, with no public benefits to outweigh the less than substantial harm.

The less than substantial harm to the significance of the conservation area as a heritage asset was not outweighed by any public benefits.
