Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- Whether the reconstituted stone used on the side and rear elevations of the building was approved by the listed building consent reference 14/04369/LBA and decision reference 18/04212/COND
- Whether the steps required by the enforcement notice exceed what is necessary to alleviate the effect of the works executed to the building
What decided it
The listed building consent and discharge of condition approval did not approve the use of reconstituted stone on the external walls, only Bath stone from Moonraker Masonry, Corsham, therefore the works executed in breach of the conditions and the enforcement notice was properly issued.
