What decided it
The proposed development would fail to provide adequate living conditions for future occupants due to substandard internal space, poor light and outlook, and inadequate outdoor space, contrary to Core Policy 8, Policy H14 and the Space Standards SPD.
The adverse impacts of substandard living conditions and design quality failures significantly and demonstrably outweighed the limited benefits of six additional dwellings and short-term construction benefits, such that the presumption in favour of sustainable development did not apply.
