What decided it

The modest design of the roof extension, particularly the frontage set behind a parapet gutter which minimises street-level visibility, combined with the existing variation in the roofscape and similar recent permissions in the area, means the proposal would not harm the significance of the Lea Bridge Conservation Area or conflict with heritage and design policies.
