Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- Whether the conversion of Barn A would provide accommodation that adheres with the Nationally Described Space Standards
- The effect of the proposed conversions on the setting of Stealth Barn, a Grade II listed building
What decided it
The conversion of the grain store would increase harm to the setting of the Grade II listed building Stealth Barn through its conspicuous appearance and bulky form, and this harm was not outweighed by the moderate public benefits of housing provision.
