What decided it

The historical evidence, particularly the 1926 and 1945 aerial photographs and 1938 Ordnance Survey map, demonstrated on the balance of probability that the two storey rear and side outrigger existed on 1st July 1948 and therefore formed part of the original dwelling, allowing the roof extension to comply with the 40 cubic metre limit under Class B of the GPDO.
