What decided it

The unacceptable effect the extension to No. 50 (Appeal B) would have on the living conditions of the occupiers of No. 48 through material loss of daylight, sunlight and an overbearing appearance, combined with the conclusion that neither extension could be constructed without the other, necessitated dismissal of both appeals.
