What decided it
The intensification of waste generation from the holiday let use, which would require additional bin storage on the footpath and cause less than substantial harm to the conservation area and listed building setting, could not be satisfactorily managed without harming two designated heritage assets.
The economic benefits to the local economy from the holiday let were outweighed by the less than substantial harm to the significance of the Seaford Town Centre Conservation Area and the setting of the Grade II listed building caused by increased waste storage on the footpath.
